Account & Data Deletion Request

You can delete your account and associated data using either of the two methods below:

Method 1: Direct in-App Deletion

1. Open the First Umrah app on your Android device.
2. Tap on your Profile / Settings icon in the top corner.
3. Scroll down and tap Sign Out & Clear Cloud Data.
4. Confirm the prompt. Your Google account session will be disconnected and all local cache will be cleared immediately.

Method 2: Email Deletion Request (Permanent Cloud Purge)

1. Send an email to: sharoidtech@gmail.com
2. Use the subject line: [First Umrah] Account & Data Deletion Request
3. Include the Google Account email address you used to sign in to First Umrah.
4. Our team will manually purge all cloud records from Firebase within 24 to 48 hours and send you a confirmation email.

Data that is permanently deleted:
• Your Google User ID (UID)
• Your Google Display Name and Profile Email
• All cloud-synchronized packing checklists
• All ritual counter records (Tawaf circuit counts, Sa'i lap counts, Salah streaks)
• Custom notification preferences

Data that is kept:
• None. We do not retain any personal or usage data after deletion.

Data Retention Period:
• Cloud database records are permanently purged within 24–48 hours of receipt of request.

If you wish to delete specific items (such as resetting your Tawaf lap counters, clearing your packing checklist, or removing location permissions) without deleting your Google sign-in connection, you can do so directly in the app:

• Reset Checklists: Open the Checklist screen, tap the menu, and select Reset to Default.
• Reset Ritual Counters: Open the Live Tracker, tap Reset Session.
• Revoke Location: Go to Android Settings > Apps > First Umrah > Permissions > Location > Don't allow.
